| 200579 | 2003-12-14 23:57:00 | Does anybody have any ideas on how to fix it? Ive cleared the Cache/Cookies, but I get this: Windows Update Error Windows Update has encountered an error and cannot display the requested page. Send error number to Microsoft (0x8007001F) Note This sends error information but does not create a support incident; you may or may not receive a response. Running Win98SE with IE6 SP1. ...Its broken good :-( |

If running a firewall disable it when doing windows updates. Also insure your security setting is at meduim. |

| 200586 | 2003-12-15 02:36:00 | *Sigh* I get the same error on both Windows 98 and XP... I'd attribute it to putting my security settings on custom (prompt for everything, just about), and my firewalls... but I daren't disable them because I don't trust MS. |

| 200587 | 2003-12-15 02:48:00 | But the settings on this box are just stock Medium settings, and Im the network Admin, so I'd know if there was a Firewall (There should be one, only the Boss doesnt want one). Any other suggestions? |
