200579 2003-12-14 23:57:00 Does anybody have any ideas on how to fix it? Ive cleared the Cache/Cookies, but I get this:

Windows Update Error

Windows Update has encountered an error and cannot display the requested page.

Send error number to Microsoft (0x8007001F)
Note This sends error information but does not create a support incident; you may or may not receive a response.

This is caused by a firewall blocking ActiveX & referrer. If running a firewall disable it when doing windows updates.
Also insure your security setting is at meduim.

It was working last week fine..?

200586 2003-12-15 02:36:00 *Sigh*

I get the same error on both Windows 98 and XP... I'd attribute it to putting my security settings on custom (prompt for everything, just about), and my firewalls... but I daren't disable them because I don't trust MS.

200587 2003-12-15 02:48:00 But the settings on this box are just stock Medium settings, and Im the network Admin, so I'd know if there was a Firewall (There should be one, only the Boss doesnt want one).

Any other suggestions?
