| 201088 | 2003-12-16 11:45:00 | any one help my with this one? I have a program that logs in to a server in USA and want to know if the password if sent in clear text or not. one way to check is to ask the devoliper but I would also like to chack for myself..... what I want is a way to catch all/any packets that leave my computer, I will then login to the system in USA, i will then grep the packets for my password. BTW this is on dial up through Ihug on a windows XP-pro system. |

| 201089 | 2003-12-16 19:55:00 | I was just surfing a couple of days ago and noticed one here (www.majorgeeks.com) by coincidence. I was thinking to myself that it looked interesting to download for possible fututre use. Of course, being free helped too :) | Pheonix (280) | ||
| 201090 | 2003-12-16 23:56:00 | Ethereal is very popular and easy to use ... tcpdump is the traditional *nix one, which is not quite as friendly.. You'll find ethereal easily. You need to get a library (DLL) which does the capturing. The download page will tell you about that. | Graham L (2) | ||
