| 201009 | 2003-12-16 02:46:00 | Hi I have hade to reinstall Xp and Office and in the past I had 2 items at the base of the File Menu in WORD - "Acquire Text" and "Acquire Text Settings" They are both missing now. Can anyone help me with what I must do to enable scanning to a word Document in Word 2002 a part of Office XP. TIA |

Not only can you run Omnipage on a standalone basis, but when installed, it adds new functions to the toolbars in Microsoft Office 97, 2000 and XP. These are “Acquire Text” and “Acquire Text Settings” which allow you to scan text directly into Office. |
