As far as I could tell, Winamp5 started slightly faster than 3, but I'm still going to stick with 3. Perhaps I'll try v2.9 with the Default skin from 3... |

| 201119 | 2003-12-17 11:49:00 | Well, I went and found 2.95. Downloaded it, and tried the Default skin from 3. Still, despite the noticeably faster start, I didn't like 2.95. IMO, the settings were too remniscent of those in 5. I don't want settings for the Media Library, nor for extracting files off CDs (which I don't want to do). Neither do I like the buffer settings in 5 (I prefer the ones in 3). It looks like the majority of users preferred 2.x features/settings, etc, and so Nullsoft used more of those in v5. Perhaps 3 was a transitional testing stage? |

It was used fully to show its power and what it can be achieved, hence it was a bit slow - David |

| 201121 | 2003-12-17 11:56:00 | What's more ridiculous about the video is the cameramen wearing black sunglasses. I mean please, cameraman need to see clarity and detail. Sometimes they even need to have their face right up against the camera (not necessarily the one in the video, though), not just sitting around crooning to each other wearing sunglasses and pretending to know a bean about being a cameraman. I think the song is one of those ones that grows on you... I thought it was absolute rubbish when I first heard it, now I just think it's rubbish :D |
