| 201203 | 2003-12-17 05:51:00 | Hi,has anyone else started to see adverts on their browsers whilst surfing that they weren't seeing before?As of this morning,the adverts have been visible on my computer,where as previously they were blocked by Norton Internet Security 2003........haven't changed any settings (used system restore just in case) os = XP Pro browser = Opera 7.23/Internet Explorer 6 Have the adds got smarter or has something happened to my computer to change things ? Norton is still set to block the adds... Both browsers now show the adds help would be greatly appreciated ruup |

Or is it that some different sites you've been going to display ads? I know that a few sites I've been to lately have displayed ads even though I've got NIS running, however it still blocks most of them. Mike. |

| 201208 | 2003-12-17 12:39:00 | I had the same with NIS 2004. one PC was blocking the ads and the other was not. To correct it I simply exported the setting from NIS from the machine that was blocking the ads to the one that was not and everything came right. Maybe something slipped in and changed things but certainly not for long. I have full ad blocking back. Also NIS 2004 is a lot smarter and can catch ads that 2003 could not. | Big John (551) | ||
