And with Dial-Up (As I learned the hard way) things are more likely to go wrong with starting/stopping downloads etc. Even on ADSL you can still run into trouibles! Personally, if I knew somebody who had these CD's/ISO's when I needed them, I'd rather pay $10 for a CD and know that its from a reliable download and is burnt properly than to have to do it myself... seems not many people do that though (Some linux shops charge $60 for a 3x CD Distro... That's what makes me do it myself ;-)). |
