201700 2003-12-19 05:58:00 Is anyone having any problems with their Clear dialup connection in the last few hours. Some sites seem to "hang". I'm not sure whether the problem is at my end or my ISP's. I was actually searching for the file 2ndsrch.dll which I think is associated with your pc visiting sites which you have not requested (some pretty bad ones :o ). I have tried to get rid of it with Ada-ware but when you reboot, back it comes. Actually it's works server and some did some innocent web surfing and regretted what got downloaded from the big bad internet. (very red faced) Dolby Digital (160)

Have a look at this site for further information on 2ndsrch.dll - here (www.doxdesk.com).

Do you have Spybot Search & Destroy installed? Might be worth giving that a run as well.

201703 2003-12-19 08:30:00 Me too - having problems with Clear I reckon (but then I do have a reputation for shooting my ISP)

I cannot get my AVG to update - gets 1% and then hangs = probably AVG but lately I have been experiencing email problems (including webmail)

The start of Xmas school holidays is always a good time to evaluate ISPs

Frankly can't be bothered with it - time to move on

I think I did try that. Certainly I loaded 2 spybot removers of an APC cd and that seemed to improve things.... until the next reboot. They are a really pain in the backside those "self loading" websites. The porno sites are the worst.

MUST be that TelstraClear are shafting us with a minimum of international bandwidth

No wonder they don't have the guts or the balls to have a "MOTD" webpage like iHug and Xtra

Time to give them the flick - so how are all you Orcon customers getting along ? any recomendatoions to us disgruntled TelstraClear suckers ?
