| 201546 | 2003-12-18 22:22:00 | Recently Norton Personal Firewall 2003 has been blocking access to my own small network. Two weeks ago there were no problems. I am running windows XP Home and have set up internet connection sharing. I have a five port hub and use Microsoft Network Client & TCP/IP. If I disable NPF I can connect to the other computers on the Home work group. When NPF is active I can see a Home workgroup but access is denied, even from the computer that has the internet connection. Can someone please help me configure NPF so I can reuse the network. |

Under the "Home Networking" tab check what IP's are in the Trusted zone. Does the IP listed match the IP of the second machine? You can also always run the Wizard again to correct any settings. Let us know how you get on. |
