201373 2003-12-18 01:48:00 I use Nero for burning my CDs (Data not music). Normally I want only one CD so drag and drop the required folders/files over each time. But now I want to make several CDs (of a party) I saved the original file and assumed I would be able to use it for the next CD (I didn't even shut down the program anyway at first.)
Each time I try I get told to insert the backup CD. Nero refuses to write a new CD for me using the saved file. I haven't asked for a backup CD - honest !
So for each CD I have to again drag and drop the folders over to a new file. Not a huge hassle but I would like to know what I am doing wrong!

201374 2003-12-18 02:35:00 First off, you need to Start a Multisession CD.

Then when you want to add/adjust it later, you want to Continue Multisession CD.

Make sure you have NOT got "finalize CD" ticked!

Should work after that :-)

201375 2003-12-18 02:56:00 My understanding is, Thomas wants multiple copies of the same files. Either make a new folder and drag & drop them into this, or Nero gives you an option to save the files after burning one cd. Think that they finish up in the Nero folder as a .img file. I always discard so can't check at the moment.

201376 2003-12-18 02:57:00 I dont think hes trying to add to an already burnt cd,but rather wants to burn more copies of the cd whenever he wants.

Nero should work as he wants it to,It is designed to save the file so you can make more copies. You should also be able to edit the master file at anytime.

Can't even guess why it hasent worked, but as a work around he could take his copy on cd and copy an image of it to HD,then burn any more needed copies of that iso file, however once the iso is made its a little bit tricker to add and remove files to it,but it is possible.
