201563 2003-12-19 02:09:00 no, if you only delete the ext3 partitions. ilikelinux (1418)
201564 2003-12-19 02:12:00 Okay - now i have to buy some Floppy discs and after I delete those partitions will the space on them go back to windows? Sucloya (5015)
201565 2003-12-19 02:40:00 You could save the trip by using the Linux partitioner. :D But it's always safest to make partitions using the tools of the OS they are for.

Deleting the logicals then the extended will make an "unused" area. You will need to run FDISK again to make a partition out of it. I suspect that the MS FDISK will automatically format it, so that Windows can use it. Otherwise, the FORMAT programme will be on that boot floppy. Just be very careful and sure that you are doing it to the correct partition. :D
