| 201505 | 2003-12-18 22:10:00 | If that's all they are making in Australia and NZ, expect changes in the local management. Microsoft expect 80% return on revenue. :D | Graham L (2) | ||
| 201506 | 2003-12-18 22:19:00 | Maybe someone would like to work out what profit they make in Asia :P That would be an all low for them. | Kame (312) | ||
| 201507 | 2003-12-19 00:12:00 | This is all about tall poppy syndrome. Microsoft make a great product and Bill Gates is a great man I put him in the same league as the Wright bros, Winston Churchill and Otto Skorzeny. I don't care how much profit Microsoft make, we live in a free market enviroment. The software is still affordable and the complainers have the option of using open sourced software. The one thing which Microsoft does which annoys me though is abandoning W98SE which is still on 80% of the worlds computers. However I suppose we must move on and buy XP. This forum is a magnet for anti Microsoft geeks. tedheath |

They have got too much power and market share, and now they can get away with whatever they want. This "Trusted Computing" thing REALLY s**ts me. Who are THEY to look at the stuff on our computers. I am ditching Microsoft soon, I will keep windows purely for things that don't run on linux. *watches behind blast shield as this turns into a heated debate about microsoft* *laughs as nuke is dropped* *shuts up* |

Winston Churchill? :O I would advice you to do some research on that man before you place him high on your "Great Men list". You will be in for a great surprise. |

I'm just anti businesses that want a total monopoly and therefore can charge what they like. Its amazing how many people only know of Microsoft software, Outlook Express is the only email program; IE is the only browser. Thats what Microsoft have always wanted the market to believe. We are just educating people that there are other OS's and programs and people can have a choice (even if its not that practical at times). |
