| 201399 | 2003-12-20 19:45:00 | Franchise isn't quite the right word... they were just an independant company which had an exclusive-supply contract with the PC Company. Just like the Napier PC Company (now PC Country), when the PC Company died, they simply lost the supply contract meaning they had to find alternative suppliers. Although I think that the new ex-PC Company branches in Whangarei and Napier will still honour the PC Company warranties for PCs purchased from their branch.. |
