201628 2003-12-19 04:40:00 Hi People
Santa brought me a DVD/CD rw unit, I went to play a dvd on it and the message came up 'error code F4D41436 TV out port of your display card is not working properly' "this copy protected disc can not be played when the TV out function is enabled"
How do I disable this function? where is my display card??
any help gratefully received
Im running 98SE and the prog is Nero PowerDVD

201629 2003-12-19 04:50:00 What brand of video card do you have?

Most modern cards have "copy protection" built in to stop them from being sued by the RIAA and motion picture guild.

To over come the issue you will need to stry into the "dark side" and apply a "hack" to over come the problem, but it is card dependent!

201630 2003-12-19 05:08:00 The same happened to me the other day. I just rebooted and the message no longer came up and was able to watch DVDs. b1naryb0y (3)
