| 201932 | 2003-12-23 04:23:00 | yes... i would say windows xp. i have xp home and find it easier to use than windows 98se. me is full of holes and 2000 doesnt have very good gaming/ multi-media support. if you do get xp, it recommends 128mb. get 256mb or even better 384mb. i have 128mb and xp really wants it to be doubled. | Megaman (344) | ||

| 201934 | 2003-12-23 04:37:00 | Go for XP Pro if your hardware components are compatible. Other than its 'pretty faces', it is very stable and 'user-friendly', too. I've installed XP on many machines and so far, no problems, yet ... ? I think, 98 is too old and unstable. W2k is good but lack of those 'pretty faces', maybe, it's more suitable for commercial use rather than for home/personal computers. Cheers |
