| 202399 | 2003-12-23 03:14:00 | Hi all. I have installed Mandrake 9.1 PPC edition on an imac (333Mhz G3 version) dual booting with Mac OS 8.6. Having had a troll through the net for information I can see that imac G4 and "imac IIs" appear to have a variety of "winmodem" in them but I am not sure if the model I am working on does. Mandrakes website says that the imac modems are supported but does not appear to specify in what way. |

If either (or both) show a modem, you're probably operational. :D Anyway, use the hardware setup thingy. I don't know the PPC stystems, but if they say they support the imac modems, there's almost certainly a module compiled with the distribution kernel. | Graham L (2) | ||
