202493 2003-12-23 08:54:00 I have transferred all emails except recent ones for Outlook Explorer to another folder I was advised to do this to lessen the number of old emails stored in the Outlook Express folders . I was told these would make unnessary calls on memory when I opened Outlook Express.

There are as a result several thousand .eml files (one for each email) in the sub-folders I have created in my "Archived emails" folder.

When I use Windows Explorer to look at the contents of these sub-folders, it presents them by Name, Size Type and (date) Modified

I want to list them by Sender, as I could before when I called them up in Outllok Express. Even though Windows Explorer gives a number of othe headings under which I could have them listed, it does not give me the option of Sender, which is the one I want.

How can I access these archived emails under Sender.

202494 2003-12-24 04:48:00 I think the person who was giving you this advice was meaning to create another mail folder within Outlook Express, so your emails are still actually in OE, just in another folder (not your inbox, something like Archived). That would make more sense to me...

Basically, you're going to have to use some sort of program to import the email messages and sort them via a specific program. How to do this, I wouldnt have a clue sorry.

Chill.
