202884 2003-12-24 21:46:00 Merry Christmas Bruce and et al :D

But you are a bit late with this post - PF1 forum members are just as bad as kiddies and we have been up since day break posting away on similar threads already :D

Well, as it is the "Official thread, I will have to post back later, since I still haven't got my pressies - I have to wait until Christmas lunch with the family (but I suspect there is a toaster in there somewhere :p)

Hope everyone enjoys their day, and just being with family (if you are able to) is just as good as receiving gifts from them :)

202889 2003-12-24 21:58:00 Ok Bruce....will re-post here from chill's earlier post....................

An Epson Perfection 1670 Photo Scanner with Transparency Unit for scanning 35 mm colour slides.

We got it a little early and now Pat has just finished scanning all our
1000+ colour transparencies covering 50 years of family goings on.

She has transferred them to cd discs and will be giving each of our now grownup children a set .

I know they will be thrilled.......these slides have sat in their boxes for all this time, rarely seen by the children and almost none ever seen by the grandchildren.

It's times like this that I remember to appreciate this marvellous hobby we have at our disposal

And one that looks like a cd. (Oh joy :))

We are havin a XMAS lunch at 2.00 pm at a Buffet restraunt. (Quarterdeck)

I am to make sure not to snack on anything today, i want to eat lots, and lots, and lots, and lots, and then just a little bit more and some ice cream :D

Have a good one everyone, and drive safe.
