I do. :-)

Not serious stuff though, just hooning around Canterbury riverbeds, tracks, etc and organised trailrides around different farmlands once a month when I can. Great fun! ;-)

202970 2003-12-27 05:32:00 And you don't ever get caught in flash-floods? agent (30)
202971 2003-12-27 07:08:00 > And you don't ever get caught in flash-floods?

Well I am still here, aren't I? :D

No, Agent, there is not much chance of me being caught in any flash-floods where I go. It has to be absolutely teeming down in the back country over a quite few hours for a flash flood to occur and whilst it may be dangerous back there it still takes a while for the rivers to rise downstream where I go giving plenty of time to get out.

There are weather warnings when the rivers may rise dangerously and even if we missed those we can see for ourselves what is happening over the hills/back country and just not go to the dodgy places. Right now quite a few of the rivers, eg the Ashley by State HW1, are almost empty, it is so dry down here.
