2003-12-25 06:49:00 | Hi, since the arrival of my new phone i bought $75 dollars of call time on the net. I didnt realise i didnt have any money because i could send texts to my dad for free i guess. (is that part of what telecom is doing? free texts till march or what-not???) So anyone.. is my plan eligble for the $10 texts?

2003-12-25 06:58:00 | Yes. All phones on Telecoms 027 network are covered. | Ashley Matthews (550) | |
2003-12-25 08:42:00 | Not all 027 prepaid plans. The Boost 027 prepaid plans do not include the $10 txt option | utopia (2200) | |
2003-12-25 08:50:00 | What about 025's? | promethius (1998) | |
2003-12-25 09:14:00 | 025 is not included in this deal, "* This offer applies to 027 Prepaid and monthly call plans excluding Boost Mobile, Gold Mobile, Builder Plan, Adjustor Plan and multi phone plans." from the telecom web page. dave.

2003-12-25 09:26:00 | Uh, how does i tell if mine is a Boost Mobile? I sent a few txts to my dads phone and i had no money in it. What does that mean?

2003-12-25 09:37:00 | no real easy way to find out if you are on boost except for ringing 0800 4 boost. on boost u get 1 cent texting to telecom phones after 9pm and 15 cent texting for the rest of the time (all the time to vodafone). dave, by the way if you want a free $10 credit on your phone register with telecom or boost depending on which u are with at www.telecom.co.nz or www.boostmobile.co.nz

2003-12-25 09:39:00 | its $10 texting unlimited up to December 31st 2004 (estimated date) could go for longer thou, maybe shorter i wouldnt know... And I dont know how it works for prepaid, but to be on the safe side i'd go to a telecom store and ask them.. OR...get a telecom account (like i did, costed me nothing to set up) and you just pay nothing all month and when the bill comes, if you only sent texts then its $10 nothing more... but if you send texts to numbers like a text to santa (promotion before xmas on telecom) even if thats only 20c...you pay for it on top of the $10, its only $10 unlimited to proper numbers like 021xxxxxxxx or 027 or 025 or any international numbers if you know what i mean... you should be able to tell if your phone is a boost one as i recall they had different boxes for telecom or boost or telecom, and yeah if your box says telecom on it or something then you should then be pretty sure its a telecom one, but go into a store and ask sometime :-) hope any of this is of any help at all :-) Merry Christmas dude

2003-12-25 10:04:00 | Well the box was just the Kyocera phones box. There are a few telecom pamphlets with my phone on it with how to setup etc etc. okay, i just asked my parents, its not a Boost mobile phone. So its a telecom one. GO Prepaid. And i know its GO Prepaid cause we went on net and bought 75 $ and put some it on thru 0800 32 32 32 etc etc... Is GO Prepaid under this $10 texting... i am really confuzzled about the my sending txt with no money on it..

2003-12-25 10:08:00 | Also when i goto Telecom and do the free 10 bucks i get this Prepaid Registration Form Sorry, but we checked that mobile number and you are unable to complete our Prepaid Registration because: You purchased your mobile prior to 1 September 2002 Or you have changed your mobile number (perhaps due to upgrading from 025) our system will not recognise your old mobile number. Call us on 0800 32 32 32 and we can help you. Or you have entered the number incorrectly If you think that you entered the number incorrectly, please check the number below and click 'Complete Registration' to try again. yeh..it definately is telecom cause i bought telecom prepaid card..
