| 203469 | 2003-12-27 10:19:00 | I've had the unfortunate experience of having detected 3 Java_bytverify.A virus by Pc cillin, my antivirus detector. And since this is the first time I ever encountered a virus, I'm not sure how to remove it from my computer. Can anyone help please. I have spent the last 30-45 mins searching f2 but haven't come across anything thats straight forward for me to follow, some links have taken me to sites but for different viruses. So would appreciate some assistance. Thanks a lot. Umila |

| 203474 | 2003-12-27 11:08:00 | to start a computer in safe mode... start/shutdown/restart. then when the computer restarts either press and hold Ctrl key, OR F8 key, it depends on the computer. it then should come up with a list of options. press the number that corresponds to "safe mode" if those don;t work then go...start/help and search for "safe mode", then choose the help option that says "to start windows in safe mode" or something similar and follow the directions in there. hope that helps :) |
