1329973	2013-03-02 10:35:00	There are times when I get the urge to have a car I don't care about so I can enforce the road rules by just ignoring people who break them and letting the accidents happen... But then of course I don't actually want to hurt anyone or damage property to make a point about Idiotic behaviour so I just insult them to the inside of my car, put it out of my mind, and go about my day.	dugimodo (138)

Wait... it's you that will take the rap, get a huge fine to pay, probably 1000 hours of community service and a fair few hours sitting in a cell while they figure out how harshly they can persecute you for hitting an invisible cyclist with a brain the size of a gnat's. After all, cyclists are an endangered species who are fiercely protected, despite their folly. Sometimes it's hard not to think of them as lemmings.	Blue Druid (4480)

We drivers see other drivers driving badly, too. But having a self-righteous cyclist ride under his wheels to show him the error of his ways is unlikely to be effective, puts other innocent road users at risk and is probably not going to end well for the cyclist, no matter how 'within his rights' he was. And in the case that Beetle cites, who will the cyclist blame when he has tyre marks on his Lycra?	Blue Druid (4480)

I treat every vehicle like its trying to kill me. If some car, bus or truck wants to cut me off even though I'm in the right. I'm not going to be standing my ground to prove a point	plod (107)

It's the holier than thou attitude of drivers and those who regard drivers as never being wrong that is the problem as much as cyclists doing crazy things	gary67 (56)
1329979	2013-03-02 20:52:00	I think Blue Druid should get a bike and ride it on the roads for a while and see how stupid some motorists can be. I do both and have much more respect for cyclists although I admit there are the odd stupid ones out there. Smart arse high school students are the worse cyclists. :)	Trev (427)
