1330912 2013-03-03 03:35:00 Why would you pay for a lossy file???

Because chances are I wouldn't notice the difference. It's not as if I have the best speakers (logitech X -230). the i-tunes stuff is okay to me.

1330913 2013-03-03 06:05:00 THIS!

I also buy vinyl too.

I've never over the past few years seen anything on vinyl that I wanted hence I still get CDs and mostly from the US as they're not available here. Will take a lossy download but only as a last resort.

1330914 2013-03-03 06:19:00 I still buy CD's. I like CD's, I like having the physical product, I like the artwork, the CD liners etc etc. And a big CD collection still looks good on a shelving unit in my HT room.

I agree with that statement, and generally I do the same for artists that merit that title. However not all musicians can come out with albums containing 10/12 tracks all worth listening to. In those cases I'd rather just buy the tracks in isolation, if possible, hence the lossless market comes handy. Really I want to avoid downloading those few tracks illegally, that is all.
