There seems to be an attitude change by cyclists receently, they know how much some car drivers like myself hate them and their flagrant disobeying of traffic lights, give way and stop signs and cycling 2 abreast or not keeping left. I have been sorely tempted to knock these people of their bikes in the past but I haven't had a road rage incident with them for months. | prefect (6291)

How else can they be exterminated? Remember, cyclists cannot actually stop or slow down when to do so might save their lives. | Blue Druid (4480)
| 1329955 | 2013-02-27 00:30:00 | It must be remembered that cycling is a sport, not just a means of transport. Therefore they are obliged to ride as fast as they can because they are in a race, even when they're alone. It is this that makes it imperative that they ignore any road rules that could conceivably slow them down and excuses all manner of rudeness and inconsideration on their part. Cage drivers are the enemy and must be treated as such. | Blue Druid (4480) | ||

This scenario was part of the web based training for the last left/right turning give way changes. |

Especially when he's been keeping pace with me in my blind spot and I've given him plenty of warning as to my intentions. Rule 2.6 (3) applies equally to a cyclist overtaking on the left. | Blue Druid (4480)
| 1329958 | 2013-02-27 02:59:00 | There are also stupid vehicle drivers as will. Was coming up to a intersection on my bike which I was going strait through and this guy pulls up on my right in this van full of kids and proceeds to turn left cutting me off. I yelled out at him and he stopped and I swerved round the front of his van and kept on going. I was wearing a high viz vest. His brain must of been where the sun don't shine. :) |
