| 1330637 | 2013-03-01 04:11:00 | "A bus driver got killed in Sud Auckland yesterday why wasnt Cambell and 7 Sharp racing to cover it?" 7 Sharp racing to cover something? Who would drive? Could you make up feeble jokes about a death? What a horrible programme it is. Isn't it? |

| 1330640 | 2013-03-01 06:40:00 | According to our beloved leaders and opinion manipulators (the news media), the reason why the police shot it was because they were trying to recover the body and it wasn't safe for the recovery operation unless they got the shark out of the way first. However, the film I saw didn't show the shark and the body in the same frame, so who knows? As the body was already dead there was no immediate hurry to retrieve it. Could have just waited a bit and let the Shark go on its way. |

My assumption would be that they were concerned there wouldn't be any remains to retrieve of the shark wasn't scared off... | johcar (6283) | ||

So you would sooner see the body torn to pieces whilst the Police stood by and did nothing? You have a very imperfect view of the reality for the relations of the shark victim, and the Police. I wonder how the Police would have explained to the widow why they stood by wringing their hands whilst the innocent wee shark tore her loved one to pieces? How would you have explained that, given that is what you would have done - stood by whilst piously stating your mantra about it being a natural thing for the shark to do? |
