| 1330681 | 2013-02-28 22:50:00 | Why is it that when they play the American national anthem, the Yanks place their hand or fist over their left tit? It seems that the Americans are different from the rest of the human race. They think that their heart is on the left side of their chest. I don't know about you, but my heart is in the centre of my chest, albeit ever so slightly to the left, but in the centre, nevertheless. The sad part about it is that some children in this country follow blindly the Yank practice and think that is where their heart is. Isn't it about time someone told them just where their heart is? Perhaps they don't care just as long as they are seen as being patriotic and looking ever so solemn when the national anthem is played. Personally I think it looks ridiculous. |

| 1330684 | 2013-02-28 23:15:00 | Having just come out of hospital from a heart attack, I can state that the pain was down through the left pectoral muscle. It's more comfortable to have the left hand and forearm resting against the chest, in the standing position. Lurking. |

The pain for me was across my upper back and down the backs of my arms... Sometimes, I understand it's the neck... Hope you're recovering well |

| 1330687 | 2013-03-01 00:59:00 | Thanks guys. They put a "stent" into the artery behind the left hand side of the heart, marvellous what they can do today ehh! Actually I had a bad dose of pneumonia first, back at the beginning of December, thought it might have been legionnaires as I had been planting out tomatoes and spuds in bagged compost, no gloves or mask, done the same thing for years without any probs. Still have a small patch of the virus bottom r/h lung. Lost 10kgs in weight, but have since put back 3kgs. Lurking. |
