| 203510 | 2003-12-27 23:31:00 | Try this Valerie. First click on the two little boxes in the right hand corner of your screen next to the X. This may minimises the screen down although not very much. Next put your cursor on the very top blue line and hold your left mouse button down. As you do so, drag the screen to the right. This may give you the opportunity to resize the screen and in doing so reveaL the menu items. Hope this helps. | Smurf (506) | ||

| 203512 | 2003-12-28 02:10:00 | According to the help ,it looks like the menu is only shown when you select the advanced setup,not the basic.And sorry,I've only got it starting in the advanced mode,so can't find how to start in basic.But I seem to remember that when installed it has the choice of which one to go into.All to do with altering my shortcuts! :-) |

Can you describe exactly the screen and contents you are getting. eg Beneath the top bar, are you getting File,Language ,Help and under those a magnifyong glass alongside which is Sybot S & D ? If you are, try clicking on Spybot S & D. When I do this, the menu actually explodes and is listed beneath on the left handside. |

| 203516 | 2003-12-28 07:38:00 | Thanks guys. Smurf - yes the window is as you described but clicking on Spybot does nothing. Clicking on the big blue Spybot at the bottom of window sends me off to Security.Kolla.de the download centre. zqwerty - I did the start/programs thing and came up with both advanced and easy mode but clicking on either brought up the same window. So it must be something I'm doing wrong during install. I'll try again & let you know Thanks again Val |

| 203517 | 2003-12-28 07:56:00 | Valerie I installed Spybot yesterday on my second system and I don't think there is much you could do wrong. Installs mostly work or fail completely. Check the buttons on the advanced mode {LHS} they tend to be layered on top of eachother and fan out when you click them. | zqwerty (97) | ||
| 203518 | 2003-12-28 07:57:00 | Hi Valerie, Just had a play with mine and found you can drag the left border between the left menu and main screen. Try moving your cursor left and see if it changes to the movey one then click and drag it towards the centre. Cheers. |
