| 204126 | 2003-12-30 04:37:00 | i tried playing a video i made in windows movie maker (which played fine about a week ago) and it wouldn't play, so media player started downloading a codec, and when it was done all it did was play sound. i've got loads of codecs installed on my computer, so i guess it's just because some of them are conflicting or i have a wrong version or something. where in windows xp home can you manage all the codecs? i'm sure i've seen it somewhere once. | tango (2697) | ||
| 204127 | 2003-12-30 06:25:00 | control panel > sounds and multimedia > hardware tab > video codecs > properties > properties that's the case under win2k, should be similar for xp you can also use a program called Gspot to identify the codecs (and their status - installed, not installed) used within an avi file |
