204605 2004-01-01 01:26:00 I'm trying to find the owners manual for a 1988 Subaru leone 4wd, but don't know where to look :(

Any suggestions?

Mike.

204606 2004-01-01 01:44:00 Start with Google. "Subaru Leone Manual" Use the quotes and go from there. I eventually found my Hynadai Manual on line, but it was an obscure address. Like "hmaservice.com" Peter H (220)

I tried that, but mostly I got articles about, or people trying to sell, manual (rather than automatic) Subarus :)

I'll try again though.

What about trying "Owners manual Subaru Leone", or Repair Manual etc?

204609 2004-01-01 02:06:00 Try to locate the manufacturer's main site first - and hope it's a page in English. Then I'd try for "Parts and Service" or similar, keeping in mind the car industry regards manuals as a spare part. Hope this helps. WalOne (4202)

Try this page www.computeroutpost.com.au
I found it by entering into google "subarau 1988 workshop manual" without the quotes, then search within results "leone"

Hope it helps PC

204612 2004-01-01 04:27:00 If you are looking for a free download, its highly unlikely that one exists.

There is a good market for reprints of "Owners Manuals" due to the large number of imported s/h cars. Some dealers charge $80 for a copy of the original manual. They are copyight.

Workshop Manuals (Haines etc) are also copyright and I have never found one free to download.

I have an MX-5 and searched high and low, found much in the way of useful info but had to buy a manual in the end.
