| 204593 | 2004-01-01 00:57:00 | Hi I have finally upgraded from 98SE to XP Home. Before I start tweaking things Id like to know if the default Disk Management in the Admin Tools/Computer Management section is any better/quicker than my Part.Magic 7 software for partitioning. My HDD is 40GB@7200rpm and has been partitioned ( by the vendor ) as C: 20GB active (system ) E: 20GB to be formatted Cheers :-) |

| 204596 | 2004-01-01 09:15:00 | Many thanx Big J, I am now using PM8 [ more money again :-( ] - had a few Drive Letter probs for the CD\RW and could only change it using the default Disk Mngr and not the PM Drive Mapper ( ? ) but things seem honky-dory now. I now have my 4 partitions on the HDD :-) Cheers ! |
