What time did you see it in Hamilton?

Will it be visible again tomorrow night?

Mike.

204389 2003-12-31 10:22:00 Hello Mike. No it will not be visable again for a while. But if you go to the site posted in #1 you can configure it to email you when it is going to be visable. If you have any problems post back here but not tonight as my I am having a little bit of trouble focusing on the keys (time of the year I guess) Cheers & have a good evening. gerrypics (323)
204390 2003-12-31 10:25:00 Not entirely sure, about 10:15pm I think. I just used the Christchurch times as a guide. I was late starting, then couldn't find it, side tracked by a much brighter star in the West, thus I missed the best part I guess, but what I did see was quite bright and making steady progress across the sky until it faded out.

Check out the site that gerrypics listed above. I tried earlier, but couldn't get any results for Hamilton, might have another go sometime.

Ah, I just figured out that site (it pays to read instructions sometimes :D) - it seems it might be slightly visible between 11:47 and 11:57, so I might take a looksee then (although mostly in shadow, so I might not see much)... am I reading that right? :D I know I've got my location right ;)

204392 2003-12-31 10:42:00 Yes Mike, you will see it tomorrow for a short time. If you click on the little green & purple bar it will produce a detailed map of the flight path which you can print. Cheers. gerrypics (323)
