| 204312 | 2003-12-31 01:26:00 | As some of you may have already seen, we appear to have a subject of extreme low intelligence and a genetically flawed piece of troglodyte currently posting on the forum, using the name of Shazz amongst others. This post is to back up one of Jim B's statements that he made in another post. Please don't reply to the posts that this person makes, all you do is justify his existence and encourage him to make further comments in the attempt to get a rise out of you all. If you just ignore him and any others who post similar statements then they will go away. I am sure that when Bruce gets back from holiday he will take the necessary steps to remove him from the forums, and should he continue then I'm sure that Bruce will be in contact with his ISP and inform them of his behavior on a public forum. So please just ignore his posts (even though it is so tempting to reply and call him what he really is), and let us all get back to helping those who are in need of computer related problems over this time when most of the PC's stores are closed for the holidays. And remember not everyone can or wants to be saved. Happy New Year Everyone. |

I wasnt going to comment at all, as I'd be breaking the rules, but I will observe that these postings go to confirm my thesis :) that present society is breeding more sub-creatures than ever before . Years ago these sub-humans didnt have access to mass communication or to transport, they just worked and lived in their dark holes, and only emerged when employed by corrupt regimes like Nazi Germany or Stalin's Russia to do their dirty work . "Those whom the gods wish to destroy they first drive mad" or words to that effect, is just another revelation of the Gaia hypothesis . Unfortunately Gaia doesnt distinguish between sub-humans and normal people, but she is certainly working hard to try to reduce the population which is destroying this planet, by increasing the proportion of slobs who hopefully will wipe each other out as we are seeing in other parts of the world . |

One of the largest problems we face is an overcrowded population, and we can only blame ourselves for that. What with life support, voluntary euthanasia not being legalised, modern technology and medicine, etc, people don't often die when they should. |

| 204315 | 2003-12-31 05:39:00 | Odin Yes, replying to them keeps them in people's line of sight. Best thing to do is what a couple of F1ers did and emailed me and Bruce. I spotted the email and deleted two utterly futile threads and have now locked the follow up from Dad/Big Brother. I didn't disable the users (there were nine of them that were from basically the same person) because then it would use another one and it might take a while to figure it out. Hopefully they will calm down. On a philosphical note, it is easy to come across some right dorks out there, and the web is no exception. One that I have been quite offended by has nearly inspired me to donning a swat outfit and hunting the bugger down and teaching it a lesson (not on F1). Life is hard enough as it is without deliberately setting out to offend people (unnecessarily, anyway). I can only assume that people with a childish and selfish view that their need is greater than all others (in parking disputes, cutting into lines, ripping people off, shooting their own team-mates in BF1942, leaving the seat up {or worse, leaving it down beforehand} and so forth) find that their journey (oops, Mitchellism) through life is not often helped by others. A friend said yesterday that he just wants to make more people happy than he pisses off. Not a bad philosphy but I think you need to make yourself happy along the way. {sermon ends} Have a good New Year (well, you nice people, anyway) robo. |

| 204319 | 2003-12-31 08:39:00 | I deleted two threads completely. See no point in deleting the user. A wise person would not continue using the id anyway with the baggage it has collected. robo. |

| 204320 | 2003-12-31 08:55:00 | it seems when one is working or not on the puter we miss an awful lot of intrigue and scandal that goes on in PF1, makes one almost think we should never leave the puter or more importantly PF1? and yes Odin it is sometimes very hard not to say anything at all, when it seems all you want to do is wring someones neck, or biff them over the head..... and the only thing you can do is abuse them with words instead.... i think we are all guilty at times of things such as this, (thoughts i mean) and most have good will power or a grasp of the english language to bamboozel the rest of the poor folk caught in the middle. and so the post pops up its head again to frustrate other members. keep up the good work Robo and Bruce, we really do appreciate it. beetle |
