204686 2004-01-01 10:44:00 Now that annoying. Thats the kind of stunt microsoft would pull. ;-)

Hey John D you don't use DirectConnect do you. Cos I like jv16 too and was wondering if I could leeeeech it off you.

I can't find the registry entries for jv16 so I can't hack it and the exe(s) have been compressed with an exe compressor so I can't crack it!

Buga eh?

204688 2004-01-01 21:23:00 Thanks Pheonix,

I'm unsure weather it will work in 2004 but will give it a go.

If it doesn't Hamster ,I'll send the version I've got to you.

Going away for three days, be back Monday.

Cheers John.

204691 2004-01-02 01:25:00 I was under the impression that it was only the 1.4 versions that had the time restriction. If all else fails, I have my copy and it is working fine (just checked again sparky. Also checked time/date). You guy's are making me paranoid now. I use XP, maybe that is a factor?
Can dump it somewhere for download I guess.

204692 2004-01-02 01:38:00 Grrr.
Uninstalled the version I had (1.3) used system mechanic to clean registry, downloaded from system utilities.com, reinstalled, same message.

Sorry, I dont work now. Please buy me.

Any other thoughts.

204693 2004-01-02 02:55:00 This has been said earlier in this thread but if you put your clock back the tools start working again. 1987 was an identical year to 2004. Just put clock back use tool then move clock forward again. I am going to leave my comp on 1987 an see what happens over a period of time, whether other unexpected problems emerge with other programs. zqwerty (97)
204694 2004-01-02 04:04:00 Moved the clock back to 1987 and it ran ok.
Just have to remember next time I use jv16 what year to put it back to.
Cheers.
