PROBLEM: 2 days back the cd for the game broke in the case and i have no way to playing the game. i heard from my sons freinds about cd cracks, where you can play the game without the cd .

i was wondering if they are legal or not . if so can anyone tell me where i can find the cd crack for this ?? if its illeagal , please ignore this post !

205007 2004-01-03 06:35:00 Well as far as i know-its not illegal as such,if you keep the game ,and the hard disk copy is a backup

ofcourse if u dont own the game anymore you must get rid of it

I think on FS series games,if u have installed the entire world,or the part of the world you want to fly in,it wont ask for CD, and u can play without it.i have Fs2002 and it does that.

i only installed USA and europe + NZ maps downloaded.so i saved some disk space.now that the cd is broken you cannot install those maps.

Try it without the CD first.

Going to CD crack sites is a bad idea.fills your pc with junk and objectionable material.

How did it break so easily

Cheers!

205008 2004-01-03 07:12:00 if you ask MS nicly they might replace the CD for cheep (a few $$ for P&P)

I know that MS did this sort of replacement thing a few years ago.

prove you own it and see what they say.

I agree - I've heard of MS replacing damaged/broken CDs a few times before. They might charge you a little bit for the replacement, but its probably worth it in the long run.

205010 2004-01-03 08:55:00 I would suggest you contact Microsoft in Auckland for a CD replacement.

It won't hurt to ask. I would be inclined to enclose the box it came in plus the broken CD to prove original. My original MS Flight Sim 2002 came on three CDs. If this happened to me then I'd send all CDs back in original box and all manuals etc.

Phone them first ask about current policy for replacement.

Quite a few years ago I sent all floppy disks to Auckland and got a replacement sent for MSWorks Version 2..

205011 2004-01-03 11:02:00 If you can prove that you have (even thought broken) a legit copy of the game then I'm sure if you ask MS niceely they may replace the game for you, though there might be a small charge for the cd. No harm in asking now is there, you'll never know unless you do ;-) Odin (227)

Due to the PF 1 rules

> 4) Subject Matter: Please refrain from or asking for, or giving advice on how to pirate software . This includes posting links to sites where Warez, no CD hacks, keygens etc etc can be found . And yes, this also covers advice on how to illegally gain access to a commercial service, such as Sky TV .

We can’t tell you where to look or give links .
