| 205073 | 2004-01-03 19:17:00 | I am having difficulty removing 2 trojan viruses from my system. My virus checker ETrust EZ AntiVirus from Computer Associates is the latest version and identifies but cannot clean these viruses. Each time I turn on my computer these viruses are reported as not being cleaned and I do not know how to track them down and remove them. They are C:\Windows\HH.HTT-JS.CSSPopup. E trojan and C:\Windows\Sys.Reg-Reg StartpageAD trojan Your help to remove them would be really appreciated. |

| 205074 | 2004-01-03 19:28:00 | Welcome to PressF1 :) You can read more about these trojans here (www.spywareinfo.com). You might just have a variant of the trojan: This trojan is detected by Computer Associates antivirus products under the following names (More info): Win32.Startpage.C JS.CSSPopup.B, JScript/IEstart.Trojan, Win32/IEstart.Trojan Go here (www.spywareinfo.com) and download the CWShredder program and give that a run. You might also want to get Ad-aware 6 and/or Sybot Search and Destroy. They are handy programs to have - make sure you keep them updated. |

| 205075 | 2004-01-03 19:32:00 | Welcome to PressF1 Coby. I would suggest using Symantec's Online Virus Encyclopaedia to find the trojans and download the appropriate fixes for them. securityresponse.symantec.com |
