2004-01-03 18:46:00 | It can be done as I've done it before, I just can't quite remember how. By viewing the source-code of the webpage (HTML), you can see the link to the actual Flash file, to which you can then point your browser, and then go File-SaveAs. | somebody (208) | |
2004-01-03 21:46:00 | Or you do a specific search in Temporary Internet Files for *.swf So if you do actually look in the source-code of the webpage and get the file name you can just copy it directly from their. But i have noticed that in the source-code a file may be flash.swf but in the temp net files it'll be flash[1].swf so you cant directly search the file name from the source-code

2004-01-04 00:47:00 | Or failing that, once you know the URL of the flash object that you want to download (by looking in the source code) (in this case it's www.g-unitsoldier.com), then you simply copy and paste the URL into a download programme such as Download Accelerator or any other downloading programme that lets you manually input URL's, then bang, away she goes. :) | dan1234 (5028) | |
2004-01-04 01:12:00 | Or right clicking on the link above and selecting 'Save link target as" | somebody (208) | |
2004-01-04 04:14:00 | Hi Mr T, Just catching up on some reading and noticed in the Nov 2003 issue of PC World, an article descibing the same thing. A program called Flash Movie Extract Pilot is used for doing just that. Searches your Internet Cache, plays them and saves them in a folder of your choice. Either available on the CD that came with the mag, or by clicking on here (www.colorpilot.com) Happy flashing.
