| 204887 | 2004-01-02 10:18:00 | When I get to level 3 on Call of Duty it comes up with an error: CMod_Loadmodes:children exceeded And then it makes resume game go back to the last save point on level 2. I have tried: Reinstalling Game Reinstalling .pak files Copying a friends working game directory Imaging the CD's to iso's Changing Video Settings All to no avail... would the fact that some of the ground textures are phsycadelic! Specs... 64MB GF4 MX440, AMD XP1800, 512MB DDR, There is enough swap space btw. peacEOut |

| 204888 | 2004-01-02 21:45:00 | Have you installed the latest display drivers for your GF4? They are up to 53.03 now for Windows 2k / XP and 53.04 for Windows 9x / ME. Did you also install the latest Directx9b which is on Call Of Duty CD1? |

| 204893 | 2004-01-03 23:44:00 | Sorry My bad, usually a game has a patch out almost as soon as it is released, but I can't seem to find one either. Have you tried turning down some of the graphics options, perhaps the shadow detail etc. I did have this error happen to me but it only happened once and I simply restarted from the save point and all went ok. Try going back to another save point earlier than your last one and see if you can play through where it is crashing at the moment. |

| 204894 | 2004-01-04 00:25:00 | I am going uninstall it... restart and change some bios settings. I found a site that said disable fastwrite and vpu. Then I'm going to reinstall it. Also on the Dawnville level it says in the console that it cannot load the image file: gfx/misc/railcorethin_mono.tga I think one of the pack files may be buggered as it make the ground textures all phsycadelic. Wish me luck. |

| 204895 | 2004-01-04 11:42:00 | Okay... I installed SP3 for Windows 2000, turned off fastwrite, put every setting to the lowest it could go after reinstalling, and even opened a save before the latest save and now it just crashes the whole computer. Freezes everytime now. x-(:-(:'( |
