| 204848 | 2004-01-02 05:11:00 | My next door neighbour had some kids visiting over Xmas and they have somehow programed the Tuner to swtich on at certian times, now they can't play the tuner at all except when it turns itself on as part of the pre program. I have been to the Kenwood site and tried to find the right manual but it doesn't seem to be listed. Does anyone know how to get the tuner out of Program mode. I have tried pressing program 1 and then clear but it doesn't cancle it. There are two numbers that seem to have been pre programmed they are numbers 1 and 6. Any help would be appreciated. |

What about if you unplugged the tuner for a few days... although I suppose it depends what sort of memory it uses for storing the channels and programs. It may well remember them forever even if unplugged. My friend has a Kenwood tuner; I'll see if he has the manual. | Dolby Digital (160) | ||

I have unplugged it for about an hour but it kept the setting, so I have got them to unplug it for a day or so, they can still use the tape deck and cd player as this is a separate component system but looks like it was sold as a complete system. Hopefully your friends manual will shed some light, and I look forward eagerly to your reply ;-) |
