| 205389 | 2004-01-05 03:11:00 | Hi Can anybody please tell me if there is a program that will detect a computer freeze, stop it from happening or at least log what happened/caused it. I thought Dr Watson was supposed to do this and also the event viewer but neither do. Thank you GeoffW |

In XP, if a fault causes a restart then that "feature" can be turned off to reveal a BSOD and error message, but a general and total freeze is more difficult. Any chance of some clues as to hardware, software and Windows version? |
