205186 2004-01-04 06:18:00 I would like to be able to automatically exit out of an internet session at say 2 am each evening (whilst I am asleep !)

Doe anyone know how this could be done ?

Would it be thru Windows or Internet Options ?

I am on Widows ME and IE 5

Thanks

205187 2004-01-04 06:47:00 Well you might be able to schedule a command to run at 0200 each day, which cuts the internet connection. I'd assume this would be a command utilisng rundll32, like the commands to shutdown, reboot, etc Windows.

Else I know Proxy+ (http://www.proxyplus.cz/), which you could just use to establish your connection, because you can set it to auto-dial and disconnect at certain hours (something like that).

205188 2004-01-04 06:47:00 Can't say I have had a use for that function. But a wee look around it seems this program (www.freedownloadscenter.com) may be worth a look. Pheonix (280)
205189 2004-01-04 10:16:00 Thanks guys,

We are on the right track,

But Proxy + looks way too advanced - its really for a LAN

and Dialguard's server is down (I'll try later)

Any more suggestions ?

205191 2004-01-07 10:37:00 Thanks,

I'll check that one out, but in the meantime I found one called Switch off and I have used it twice now and it works perfectly.

Just what I want, nice and small and easy to use.
