| 205440 | 2004-01-05 07:17:00 | Sorry for the OT. and no im not looking for cheats codes or anything that, just a discussion board of sorts. we have a PS2 and have hired some games, (Tomb Raider ) and are having a major at getting her to jump off a platform to another roof, so have not got the first sequence finished yet, died so many times, are thinking of just taking it back and getting something else, and was wondering if any one knows of a good page for discussions etc for this sort of thing? i googled it and most want to give cheat codes or to buy the machine or the games, so not what im looking for.... so can anyone give me a good link or page to look at online? please? help. this game is so frustrating..... thanxs beetle |

| 205446 | 2004-01-07 04:30:00 | well after lots of trial and error i have given up in frustration on this game, after managing to get her to jump the gap, she fell so many times and the restarts were a pain, may try one of the other Tomb Raider games to see if they are any better. thanxs all, obviously i am a minority, who does not know the inns and outs of games or where to source all this sort of info, im not really big on gaming. we live and we learn..... and i thought computing was stressful.... nothing compared to PS2 when its all going wrong on screen. :D beetle |

| 205447 | 2004-01-07 05:01:00 | Hi Beetle The link that metla gave has instructions of gameplay and control - see here (www.tombraiders.net) You should find the in Tombraider series, that there is an option to go and practice moves before starting the game - sometimes referred to as the gym or Croft Mansion area. Worth spending a bit of time here first :) A good tip in gameplaying, is to make a quick save as soon as you have completed a difficult manuover. That way if you kill yourself or get killed soon after, you don't have to repeat that section. |

| 205449 | 2004-01-07 05:08:00 | On the rooftop push the barrel at the top left corner and go down to the platform bellow to collect the Crowbar. Get the Health Bandages at the left side of the cabin, over a barrel. At this point, you can return to the room you entered trough the window to open the closet with the Crowbar. In order to do so, you must return by going the reverse way. You will find a Necklace inside the closet. Once you have it, return to the rooftop and open the small cabin's door with the Crowbar. Lara will feel stronger once you do it. Inside examine the closet and you'll find the M-V9. Return to the platform where you found the Crowbar, jump and hold the edge and quickly shimmy to the left. Lara will fall just after passing the fence. Tap the Stealth button and follow the balcony. You'll find the Gantry Gate Key just before the stairs and the guard, over the wooden table. Collect it. If you want, you can approach the guard and press action while standing behind him. This will knock him out, but there is no big advantage in doing so. Open the gate at the other side of this balcony and go down the ladder. You'll start the next level after the sequence. There you go. I've done it for you. |
