| 205324 | 2004-01-04 17:48:00 | Hi ,windows xp home edition,msn messenger.I have two users set up at log on,each of us use msn messenger but neither logs on automatically even though that button is checked to do so.Also mine has my details(name -password) to click on but my partners has to be re typed each time.Tried a complete removal and reload without success.A small but frustrating problem if anyone can help.Hope I havent been to vague.Thanks.Dave. | moamanz (1857) | ||
| 205325 | 2004-01-04 19:16:00 | Your other user who has to re-type their username/password has not associated .Net Passport with their WinXP account. Go to: Control Panel - User Accounts - and click on your partner's account name. Then click on the button which says "Set Up My Account to use a .NET Passport", and follow the onscreen instructions. To auto-login in both accounts, make sure in the Tools-Options and General Tab, that the "Allow Automatic Sign-In When Connected to the Internet" box is ticked. |
