205257 2004-01-04 08:49:00 USB software / cable prob! I have a late model Toshiba TE2300 laptop and loaded Sony Cybershot 5.0 MB dig cam software onto my laptop, however I had already connected the camera USB cable - I should have loaded the USB software first - now it won't recognise the Sony Cybershot camera when I connect it to download photos. Anyway to make my laptop recognise the connection?
Thanks,
Mike

205263 2004-01-04 19:18:00 I'd suggest unplugging the camera, and reinstalling the software over the top of what you've already installed, restart the computer, and then plug in your camera. It should come up with the bubble in the taskbar which says "new hardware found", where it should go and automatically set it up for you.

I have a similar camera (3.2megapixels instead), which works fine if you install the software first.
