My computer freezes randomly, quite often, and has to be reset. My board is an AT socket 7 with a P133 chip (fan&heatsink), and 64MB of good memory. I have a PCI Cirrus Logic graphics card and two PCI network cards. It used to just freeze with them in (as far as I know) but freezes without now. The motherboard is newly aquired and in the case of an old 486/100. My Win98 is a fresh install. I have had problems while installing win98 with freezing too (see my previous post). |
