| 205798 | 2004-01-07 03:06:00 | Recently purchased an MP3 player (generic brand). Works ok on Motherboards with in-built USB ports. Can't get it to work on my own motherboard using a PCI USB (1) card. It detects it but then just locks up for ever trying to read it. FIC VB601 Motherboard with Intel Chipset, Win XP SP1 Any ideas? | 205799 | 2004-01-07 03:18:00 | Even if the player is USB 2.0, it should step down to USB 1.x. It could be one of those USB problems. :D Try using it through a hub. |
