| 205701 | 2004-01-06 12:09:00 | Hello all, At the moment I have: Jetstream Starter (aka Jetstart) hooked to a ADSL router. To this, I have 3 computers. However, I am thinking of adding a laptop. So could you guys please advise me on whether I'd be able to just buy the new lappy and wireless hub n card. So.... I'd be thinking of something along the lines of Line -> Router -> Normal 4 port hub -> 1) Wireless hub 2-4) Current Computers Then... to the wireless router connect the lappy Is it possible? Many thanks in advance, |

| 205702 | 2004-01-06 23:17:00 | I have a 10 port switch, with an ADSL router feeding into one port. (My external ADSL router does not have a hub/switch so I used a separate one). My Wireless Airpoint connects to one switch port (others are used by 3 computers, and a printer) My laptop has a wireless PCMCIA card in it and connects back to the airpoint via that. All quite seamless, my ADSL router assigns the IP's as the DHCP host. |
