Something taking over the MAPI control and not willingly giving it back. Make sure nothing else is running and see how it goes? Close down OE in particular. Take up knitting? |

| 205845 | 2004-01-08 05:10:00 | Hi GF Perhaps knitting will give me less grey hairs( though none is grey- all snowwhite ) :-) O K I am going to look at this MAPI- but to close down O E means I can't do my chess ( they are not IE sent as is the game postcard chess which I play in conjunction- this is in "cartoon" pencil outline peices not like THat game which is e mail attached and in colour. The second of the youths(?) now 25 yrs) has agreed to come Sat late morning. I have to ring him in his batchelor pad as he will be sleeping in -his firm's ISP has run aground too and he has been called back tonite and Fri till 11 pm) " Bloody computers" once again so my better half keeps saying :-) I ran that trojan scan - 188 minutes and nothing found, so Fire and Ice might be interested in that Anyway you sure have tried and done me well - I thank you - if this sat episode succeeds I will let you know-in this same string- wish me luck effie c |

| 205847 | 2004-01-08 06:28:00 | Hi Baldy, No, not at all- the game is as fast as one wants to deploy and attack or retreat and where as as a pup I used to be better than I am now- I still have in play at any one time 36 different games with about 16 opponents- and if I am slow with that tally - my brain is not as atrophied as I thort. If I change games all those 16 opponents are going to change too. It is no fun playing the puta ( tho I have won once even against that)- No, the trouble is to find the intermittant fault and correct it-( at the moment it is down- God knows why!! effie c |
