| 205744 | 2004-01-07 10:12:00 | For an AMD CPU, I can almost GURANTEE you that the best motherboard is the Abit Nf7-s Rev 2.0 You can check it out at futuremark forum www.futuremark.com/community It has all da features (SATA - Raid, LAN, Firewire, Soundstorm etc ) and it's the best board for overclocking.... It's going for around $220. Take my word for it, it's da best board you can get ; ) Or if you want, Asus A7N8x is also a good board, but I personally would go for the abit. btw, I ve been hearing good things about the new DFI Infinity2 as well.... These's nothing wrong with MSI boards, but if you want the BEST ....the boards I mentioned are da !@#$s, and since its reasonably cheap, I suggest you get one of the ones I mentioned. Looking at that K7N2 Delta-L, its about $170, but I am just worried about what it says on the MSI website. www.msi.com.tw "NOTE: nForce2 only NOT support x4 memory device. 1GB can be made by other density of dram chip such as x 8, x16." We have 1gb made out of 2x 512mb, and as I dont understand any of that density stuff, would you say I can, or can't have it? Thanks |

| 205747 | 2004-01-12 16:37:00 | Gigabyte GA-7N400 pro2 . Available at most comp. shops for $170 +gst. That's what PCSale are advertising some others are a bit dearer. It supports ram up to DDR 400 and FSB to 800. So if you want too you can go to an Athlon XP 3200 at some future date. Jack. |
