| 205593 | 2004-01-08 04:04:00 | Thanks for the comments. The new comp. is running beautifuly now Fast.fast, fast. The only problem I had was that I could not get windows to install. It could not find a hard disk. After a lot of shagging about I finaly discovered that the Cmos settings were set for an EIDE hard disk and of course I eventualy that SATA was set to "disable". The assembler did a good job checking that didn't he ? To answer a couple of questions: NO I will not sell the old one in bit's and pieces. It's for sale as a running comp. I've even re-formatted the Hard disk ,NTFS. The new one is 120 Gigs, If I said megs, I'm sory. Not sure what the difference is. :D Anyway I've got a full day tomorrow installing software. All I have on so far is XP and my modem driver. Jack |
