| 205538 | 2004-01-05 23:12:00 | Has the speaker icon in the system tray (by the clock) have a cross through it if so double click on it then unmute the speakers. Check device manager tell us if there are any yellow exclaimation marks on any thing if so tell the name of the device, also please tell us what operating system you are using. Not trying be silly here but check the easy things first such as are the speakers plugged into the correct jack on the sound card etc. |

| 205540 | 2004-01-07 03:35:00 | It's quite possible that your sound card drivers have gone AWOL. I know it sounds weird but these things happen. Have a look in Add/Remove programs to see if there's an entry for the sound card drivers, if there is, uninstall them and then re-install them (I'm assuming you have the drivers for the card, if not it may pay to download drivers for it. If there isn't an entry re-install as well. ;) Hope that helps. cheers chiefnz |
